Susan Capan has been a professional artist for 25 years, self taught, award winner, art teacher and show judge. Her subject is predominately portraiture and she works from her small studio and now new gallery on beautiful Mt. Tamborine in Queensland's, Gold Coast Hinterland, Australia, where she finds plenty of inspiration to paint. She usually works by commission using the clients photo, which can be emailed or a hard copy sent by post. Susan prides herself in creating a really good result from a clients photograph and using a little artistic licence to enhance and improve the subject.
The subjects Susan paints are portraits mainly but also landscapes, houses and animals etc. in oil usually. This means they don't need to be framed (at extra expense), to look finished but they certainly can look very classy with a quality frame to set them off and this is available as an optional extra.
