Susan's history.

Susan loved drawing from a very early age. Originally from the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria and moving to

Queensland in 1983 with her husband Paul and two daughters. They lived on the Gold Coast for 18 years before

settling        on beautiful,  inspiring Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia,

where they built their dream, 'The Secret Garden Gallery & Cafe', which is currently a wedding venue.

They ran this for a few years before selling up as it became very popular and too big for them so they chose

to downsize to a smaller gallery in the popular Gallery Walk tourist strip on the mountain.

While Susan ran The Secret Garden Gallery, many paintings were sold to private and corporate customers

worldwide and a clientele was built up who from time to time would request her to do another commission for them.

Susan and Paul's gallery, 'Capanart Gallery' has now been operating since 2009 and is located

at 110 Long Rd. Gallery Walk, Eagle Heights, Queensland, Australia.

Living and working in the beautiful green environment of Tamborine Mountain is a dream come true and a

mecca for artists and daytrippers, I invite you to visit my gallery which is open 7 days or by ringing  if we are not open as I could be painting one of my portrait commissions at the back of the

gallery in the studio.
