A little more about Susan. 

​

From her early years sketching no the outskirts of Melbourne to her vibrant studio among the lush rainforests of Tamborine Mountain, Susan Capan has followed a lifelong calling to capture beauty, emotion and imaginatino through paint and line. Her story is one of passion. perserverance and profound connection to the natural world. 

​

Susan's artistic journey began in childhood and unfolded across a life rich with creativity and imagination. After years in the breathtaking Dandenong Ranges, she followed her heart northward to the Gold Coast and then to Tamborine Mountain, where the misty forests, moss covered rocks and abundant flora have sparked more than three decades of inspiration.

​

As a private art teacher for over twenty years, Susan nurtured and guided aspiring artists with gentle encouragement and deep knowledge. Her vision extended further still when she opened her own gallery - a space that not only showcased her luminous artworks but gave voice to a wider community of creators. For fifteen years this gallery stands as a testament to her generous spirit and artistic drive.

Susan's ever evolving portflio is a symphony of style and mood. From the wild joyful energy of fluourescent florals to the still meditative depths of the rainforest scenes, her work traverses realism and abstraction, serenity and intensity.

Whether painting wildflowers, mysterious grottos or glowing nightscapes she invites us into a world alive with wonder.

Her art is not only admired across Australia but cherished in homes in U.K. to the U.S., Canada to South Africa, Croatia, New Zealand. Most recently two radiant commissions from her beloved  Mossy Rock series found new hmoes in Paris and Mauritius - glowing proof of how her vision transcends borders and speaks to hearts around the globe.nong Ranges, she followed her heart
