Susan Capan Artist

                                                 I  am mostly a self taught artist and loved drawing from a very early age. Originally from the Dandenongs in Victoria and moving to Queensland in 1983 with my husband Paul and two daughters. We lived on the Gold Coast for 18 years before settling on beautiful, inspiring Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia, where we built our dream,  'The Secret Garden Gallery & Cafe', which is still running as a gallery today. We ran this for a few years before selling up as it became very popular and too big for us so we chose the simple life with more time to paint for me.
       While we had the gallery I sold many paintings to private and corporate customers and built up a clientele who from time to time request me to do another commission for them.

Update. Our new gallery 'Capanart Gallery' is now up and running. We opened a week before Christmas 2010. We are located at 110 Long Rd. Eagle Heights, Queensland, Australia. See my blog for story about the building of the gallery and the grand opening.

  
        Living in such a beautiful and green environment, Tamborine Mountain, which is a mecca for artists and daytrippers, I invite you to visit my gallery which is open 7 days or by ringing the bell at the door if we are not open as I could be painting one of my portrait commissions out the back in the studio.
